After watching TLC's A Baby Story as a child, Ashley knew she was destined to become a nurse—more specifically, a "baby" nurse. By the age of 22, she had graduated college, passed her nursing boards, bought a house, and married her high school sweetheart. Life seemed picture-perfect. However, what 22-year-old Ashley wasn’t ready for were the harrowing experiences of death as an ICU nurse, the depression that followed the birth of her daughter, and the challenges of raising children in such a tumultuous world.
Vital Signs is a heartfelt journey of discovering balance between being a wife, mother, nurse, and staying true to herself.
